Given their breadth of member representations, BMOs are vital in driving economic development and delivering inclusion and social equity outcomes. Their membership is drawn from companies, individual entrepreneurs, business associations, chambers of commerce, and federations of business associations, among others.

BMOs make essential contributions in formulating enabling policies and regulations that shape the business environment. If they are to execute their mandates more effectively on behalf of their members—and be strong and reputable representatives of the private sector to the public sector—they require the capacity to identify constraints in the enabling environment, frame evidence-based policy options, advocate for business-friendly laws and regulations, and engage the public sector in thoughtful, substantive and forward-looking negotiations that are outcome focused.

We build BMOs' capacity to effectively represent their members and facilitate the sustainable growth of target industries.
